GPRN/NSCN holdsjoint council meeting

GPRN/NSCN held a joint council meeting on June 20, at 5th Mile Chümoukedima where oath taking ceremony was conducted and major reshuffle and induction took place for the tatars, deputy kilonsers and kilonsers.


In a press note, GPRN/NSCN said that ato kilonser N. Kitovi Zhimomi while exhorting the members on the importance about the Naga peace talk based on the ‘Agreed Position’ assured to collectively execute a way forward to achieve Naga political solution without much delay. MIP said that all members present reaffirmed its May 28, 2024 resolution to fully support the collective leadership– president GPRN ‘maj.’ (Retd.) R.M. Lotha, vice president Chennyeim Konyak, ato kilonser N. Kitovi Zhimomi and deputy ato kilonser Jungshiwati Ao.


The house affirmed its unwavering commitment to uphold the Agreed Position signed on November 17, 2017, between Government of India (GoI) and the WC, NNPGs and to actively strive towards nurturing peace and harmony, and secure a brighter future for the upcoming young Naga generation.
