GPS Lazami affected by ‘sinking land’

One of the oldest schools in Sumi area established in 1926, Lazami Government Primary School (GPS) at Lazami village has been partially affected by sinking land on July 3 night.
In a press release, Village Education Committee Lazami village chairman and head GB, I. Kamu Phucho stated that due to the incessant rain and storm out of six classrooms, four classrooms has been completely damaged. He said the remaining classrooms are also in dilapidated condition.  Owing to this, the VEC said that classes could not be held thereby affecting the students.
