Greenwood School hosts science expo

Greenwood School, Dimapur, conducted its annual science exhibition on Friday at the school auditorium under the theme “Experimenting with possibilities,” featuring 631 student participants and 229 innovative models.
Gracing the occasion as chief guest, District Forest Officer, Dimapur, Beizo Suokhrie, lauded the exhibition as a celebration of curiosity, creativity and scientific inquiry. He remarked that science is not merely a subject but a way of thinking and understanding the world, and commended students for applying scientific concepts to address real-world challenges.
“You have not only engaged with scientific concepts but also applied them to solve real-world problems,” Suokhrie said, noting that success comes when preparation meets opportunity, and urged students to remain prepared to seize every opportunity.
Students Lemie (Class 12-G), Kebenye Thong Seb (Class 10-A), and Katemchila Longkumer (Class 5-A) shared their experiences and reflections on science learning. The programme began with an invocation by assistant teacher Kevinguzo Khate and words of appreciation were delivered by GWS Director, Asito Peseyie.
