GVC condemns Assam Rifles raid

Ghonivi Village Council (GVC) has condemned the alleged raid conducted by 32 Assam Rifles (AR) on December 25 at the house of Ahovi Aye.
In a condemnation note appended by chairman Ghonivi Village Council, head GB, GB, three council members and council secretary, Ghonivi Village Council, while condemning the AR action, clarified that Ahovi Aye was a retired peon of Nagaland State Co-operative Bank and his son Khekato Sumi was working under GPRN/NSCN (U).
The council further stated that “nothing adverse” against the family members of Ahovi Aye could be found during the raid.
