A delegation of Ikiye-Itovi Youth Front (IIYF) met principal director, Health & Family Welfare (H&FW), Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru at his office chamber on April 8 to address public grievances with regard to Primary Health Centre (PHC), Satoi under Satakha sub-division, Zunheboto.
A press release by its media cell stated that a representation was served to provide at least one ambulance at PHC, Satoi.
In this regard, Dr. Kevichusa Medikhru said that the department had put on record and would give priority in providing an ambulance after it was allotted and made available to the department.
IIYF also briefed about the recent accident which occurred between Ikiye-Itovi, Satoi area on February 22.
The principal director said that he would look into the matter of public grievances and stated that there would be no absence of health workers at any point in time at the health centre.
He further assured to give priority to Satoi PHC.
IIYF officials also met engineering-in-chief, NPWD and served a representation to the department for ongoing construction of PMGSY phase-IX batch (2017-18) between Satoi to Ikiye-Itovi for quality workmanship.
It requested to obtain “clearance certificate” from the join council Ikiye-Itovi to ensure work satisfaction as per work order before remaining bills were released.
IIYF also appealed to the department to construct the road immediately and carry out physical inspection from time to time.
Further, in the event of failure to comply the demands, IIYF stated that it would leave no stone unturned to pursue any form of action and may also invite legal action which the department would be held responsible for any consequences.
