Advisor for Urban Development and Municipal Affairs, Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire on Thursday said that hard work was the answer in any profession.
Speaking as special guest at a felicitation programme organised by All Nagaland Private School Association (ANPSA) Kohima unit at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Kohima, the advisor reminded the students that they should not go to college for the sake of a friend, but to go with a purpose.
Further, he congratulated the achievers and advised them not to lose focus as they step into new chapters in their lives.
He also asked them to remember the three Ds—Dedication, Determination and Devotion, in order to be successful in life. The programme was chaired by ANPSA president Zhopota Rhakho, students of G. Rio school presented a special number while Vitshunuo Alvina Dzüvichü top 3 from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School Kohima delivered a “topper’s talk”.
Altogether, 12 HSLC toppers and 14 HSSLC toppers from Kohima were felicitated.
