Highway Area Sumi Students’ Union (HASSU) has extended unconditional support to NSF demand for setting up staff selection board (SSB) in the state.
In a statement, HASSU president, Abovi Awomi and general secretary, Mughaka Chishi stated that demand of NSF was just and right and that it was the duty of the government to take up the matter on utmost priority.
However, despite giving enough time and ultimatum being served the government has not taken any step, which indicated the lackluster attitude toward the students body and an insult to the entire students community, the release stated.
Therefore, HASSU appealed to the government to immediately take up measures and set up SSB as demanded by the NSF.
