Nagaland health project, under the aegis of the Directorate of Health & Family Welfare, organised health camps under Kiphire District, at Phelunger & Lihtsaoung villages on November 28, and Anatonger and Nutsu villages on November 29.
A press release from District Media Officer, CMO office Kiphire, Atsali T, stated that the Health Camp was carried out by Nagaland Health Project (NHP) Kiphire, led by district facilatator, Zitilong Sangtam. Dr. Hedungkiebe also addressed the villagers, where he encouraged promoting health education.
Altogether 198 patients were enrolled, where ANC checkups, HIV/AIDS and sugar tests and special eye treatment were administered.
The program was headed by senior ophthalmologist, Dr. Hedungkiebe, district epidenologist, Dr. Dheni, and NHP district facilitator Kiphire, Zitilong, and coordinated by DAPCU & ICTC, RNTCP, NHP staffs, and District Media Officer (NHM), CMO Office Kiphire, Atsali Thongtsar.
