Health workers training held in Phek

District Health Society, Phek, has conducted training cum review meeting for medical officers, ANM, LHV and health workers on Health Management Information System (HMIS) and Mother & Child Tracking System (MCTS) at Meluri and Phek blocks on January 20 and 21.
The resource persons were Dr. Ritu Thurr, Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Phek, and Dr. Thienuhezo, District Program Officer (RCH & UIP).
Dr. Ritu trained the participants on how to enter the Integrated Reproductive Child Health (RCH) register at all health units which were recently implemented to be used with affect from February 1. He also advised them to maintain different registers such as census of the village, attendance of the health workers, inspection register etc. and further stressed on the importance of recording and timely submission of monthly reports.
Dr. Thienuhezo re-oriented the health workers on the Mother and Child Protection Card (MCP) and on the importance of immunization.
During the training Dr. K Vikato Kinimi, Chief Medical Officer, Phek, also briefed the participants emphasizing on the importance of monthly reporting and to maintain coordination among the health workers.
The training on MCTS & HMIS at Pfutsero and Chozuba block would be held on January 22 and 23 respectively.
