Heavy rainfall in Nagalandtill June 25, says NSDMA

DIMAPUR, JUN 17 (NPN)

Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA) has informed that Nagaland would experience heavy rainfall in nearly every district until June 25, 2025 with isolated thunderstorms and lightning.
In a press release, commissioner & secretary Lhouchalie Viya informed that heavy to very heavy rainfall was expected at isolated places over Chumoukedima, Dimapur, Kiphire, Longleng, Mon, Niuland, Noklak and Shamatore June 18. From June 19- 25, NSDMA predicted that all of Nagaland’s districts were expected to see heavy rainfall with Longleng, Mon and Tuensang districts receiving very heavy rain on June 19, 2025. In this regard, NSDMA has urged the public to exercise caution to avoid any eventualities during this period.
