Heavy vehicles restricted on NH-29

In view of occurrence of multiple landslides along the National Highway-29 near old KMC dumping site, the deputy commissioner (DC) Kohima, B Henok Buchem, has restricted movement of heavy vehicles along the affected stretch till further orders.
All the heavy vehicles (6-wheelers only, as per earlier order) would be routed through Peducha Bridge – Tsiesema (10 Mile) road with immediate effect.
Meanwhile, the LMVs bound for other districts have been advised to take the same route: Peducha Bridge – Tsiesema (10 Mile).
