Advisor for Industries & Commerce, Hekani Jakhalu, on August 5, inaugurated the new branch of Kinimi School of Music (KSM) at 4th Mile, Dimapur.
Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Hekani said every successful venture begins with the careful management of small resources. She underscored the importance of financial discipline, prudent planning and consistency, stating that responsible management of resources enables businesses and institutions to grow and thrive over time.
Commending the vision behind the music school, she wished the institution continued success and encouraged everyone to place God at the centre of their lives, sharing how faith and God’s guidance had remained constant throughout her own journey.
Founder and proprietor of Kinimi School of Music, Kalino Kinimi Zeliang, spoke about the school’s journey, recalling the vision, perseverance and dedication that led to its establishment. She expressed gratitude to God for His guidance and faithfulness through every stage of the institution’s growth.
Managing Director Bomito Kinimi also shared his experience in overseeing the expansion of the school and the establishment of the new branch. Reflecting on the challenges and milestones, he said the school’s progress was made possible through God’s grace and faithful provision.
The management expressed appreciation to family members, faculty, parents, friends and well-wishers for their prayers, encouragement and unwavering support in making the expansion possible.
The new branch will offer professional training in voice, piano, violin, cello, guitar, music theory, church music, performing arts and other Western classical music programmes. Through structured lessons, performances, examinations and ensemble training, the school aims to nurture musicians with excellence, discipline and strong character.
