\Directorate of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) organised a farewell programme in honour of three officers who have retired from the service on January 5.
A press release by IEC Bureau, directorate of Health and Family Welfare, stated that Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi retired as principal director, Dr. Thorhusie Katiry as director and Dr. Z. Kheshito Zhimo as addl. director.
The programme was chaired by Dr. Vibeituonuo Mepfuo director (Health), scripture reading and prayer by Dr. Khelito joint director and a special song was presented by NHM.
Commissioner and secretary H&FW, Y. Kikheto Sema delivered a speech which was followed by citation and presentation by Dr. Temjentsungla, incoming principal director, DHFW and speeches from the outgoing officers.
The outgoing officers in their farewell speech expressed gratitude to all officers and staff for their support rendered during their 35 years of service and encouraged all to continue to work together as one. They also thanked Almighty God for His help in their journey of serving the department. The programme concluded with a mass benediction.
