Superintendent of Police, Wokha initiated a one-day training programme for Wokha district Home Guards personnel drafted for the forthcoming Lok Sabha Election 2019 at Home Guards & Civil Defence district office on March 30.
According to a DIPR report, resource person circle inspector, DEF, Wokha, Medosa Yoho briefed the personnel on general guidelines, enforcement of Model Code of Conduct, general duties and responsibilities, “Before the Polling Day” for Police/Home Guards personnel guidelines, do’s and don’ts and guidelines on returning from polling stations.
During the training session, an interactive and question hour was also held to clear doubts and queries about polling duty.
