Holi, the festival of colours, was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Dimapur on Friday. To mark the festival, various organizations and clubs hosted vibrant events and brought together people from different communities reflecting the spirit of unity.
Some of the major events included celebration at Dimapur District Sports Council (DDSC) complex, organized by Unity Circle Club in coordination with the Human Rights Help Association, Nagaland.
Friends on Wheels Motorcycle Club also hosted the event at Dimapur Club. It was learnt that the revenue generated from the tickets would be used to help underprivileged students.
Both events witnessed large gathering of people from different faiths and communities highlighting Dimapur’s unity in diversity.
Apart from organized events, children along with their parents, in different colonies, were seen celebrating the festival of colour.
