DIMAPUR: Hollotoli School has announced that Lian Tungnung, a Class XI student, has been selected to participate in the Summer Leadership Programme hosted by The Doon School, Dehradun. Notably, he was the only participant chosen from the North East region.
The programme brought together students from across the country and featured leadership activities, group discussions, collaborative projects and outdoor sessions. Through these engagements, participants developed communication skills, teamwork, critical thinking and self confidence.
During the programme, Lian interacted with fellow participants, exchanged ideas and gained insights into leadership, responsibility and community living. The experience encouraged him to take on new challenges, become more independent and develop a broader perspective.
Sharing his experience, Lian said the programme provided him with an opportunity to interact with students from diverse backgrounds, learn new skills and grow in confidence, describing it as both enriching and memorable.
Conducted annually, the Summer Leadership Programme is designed to promote experiential learning and holistic development among students. Hollotoli School stated that Lian’s participation reflects the importance of providing students with opportunities beyond the classroom to gain wider exposure and learning experiences.
