A farewell programme for retiring officers, Home (Prison), Chonthungo Kikon, and secretary (Police & Political) Kehrieselie, was held on May 31 at the office chamber of the home commissioner, Nagaland.
A press release issued by Media Officer, NSDMA, Home Department, Keren Rose said the retiring officers served the Government of Nagaland in various capacities during their 35 years of service.
The release stated that the home commissioner, on behalf of the Home Department, expressed gratitude to the two outgoing officers for their sincere and dedicated service rendered to the state government and further wished them the very best and happy retired life.
The farewell programme was marked by short speeches from, IAS secretary, Home (GAB), Printing & Stationary/NSDMA, Rovilatuo Mor, special secretary, Home (Police/Political) S.R Saranavan, and home commissioner, Ramakrishnan. Short speeches were also given by the outgoing officers who thanked the department for organising the programme in their honour. The farewell program was chaired by K. Libanthung Lotha, secretary, Home (SAB).
