Home deptt notifies on online Inner Line Permit

Nagaland home department has informed that the provision for online application and issue of Inner Line Permit (ILP) has been extended with immediate effect to non-indigenous persons belonging to the categories of trader, businessman, labourer, student and priest for entry and temporary stay in Nagaland as per provisions of ILP regime laid down in the home department office notifications of even number dated May 3, 2018 and December 9, 2019.

It informed that the application for issue of online ILP may be made by registering at www.ilp.nagaland.gov.in providing all requisite details, uploading photograph, valid government recognised photo IDs, address proof and paying prescribed fees as per instructions on the website.

Guarantor for persons seeking ILP online would also be required to register on the site as per instructions on the website.

The digital copy of ILP card generated or its hard copy would be considered as valid ILP document when carried along with a government recognized photo ID. The facility of online ILP would be in addition to the existing offline mode of obtaining ILPs, the department informed.
