A group of 120 students from Hope Academy, Chumoukedima, accompanied by six faculty members, engaged in an educational field trip to School of Agricultural Sciences, Nagaland University (SAS, NU) on February 12.
A press release by PRO, NU, informed that students engaged in comprehensive exploration of various specialized project units and departments and had the opportunity to visit Entomology Insect Museum, Plant Pathology Disease Museum, Library, Educational Museum, All India Coordinated Research Project on Honeybee Pollinators and STINER-TFC.
Faculty members and project in-charge provided further comprehensive briefings on the various departments, thereby enhancing students’ understanding of agricultural sciences.
The educational trip concluded by interaction with the Pro Vice Chancellor, professor Akali Sema and Dean, professor L. Daiho, SAS, NU.
