Hope The Music School produced its latest musical theatre, “Matilda: A Story of Hope”, on July 12 at the M Kikon Auditorium, Pilgrim Higher Secondary.
This musical theatre adaptation is a powerful reimagining of the beloved classic, brought to life through the voices, passion, and talent of the school’s young performers.
The play featured a vibrant cast of 30 students who breathed new life into the story on stage.
More than just a performance, “Matilda: A Story of Hope” stood as a celebration of resilience, truth, and the quiet strength that rises in young hearts. It highlighted the enduring power of hope, one that grows in adversity and shines brightest in the darkest of moments. The musical theatre production was led by creative and production director, Asi Kaurinta. The next play will be performed in Kohima on July 19 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma with 70 cast.
