Hornbill Fest: Traffic rules

In continuation to Hornbill festival traffic regulations, Kohima police has issued additions regulations.
On December 2 and 7, all upcoming vehicles on NH-2 would be diverted from Meriema junction towards New Secretariat from 4 p.m. till the concert was over.
All VIP escort vehicles would be cut off from Gate No. I of I.G stadium and park along NH-2 facing towards Meriema side below Gate No. II (exit).
From ‘Y’ junction below old MLA Hostel till Southern gate of Kohima Local ground and from Northern gate till Razhu Point, no vehicles will be allowed to park from 4 p.m. till the Night Carnival/Bazar is over w.e.f. December 1-10.
All vehicles coming for Night Carnival would be parked at Kohima Local ground.
At Kisama, only cars having car passes ‘A’ and ‘B’ will be allowed entry at Gate No. II and may take new exit road. Cars having car pass ‘C’ will take the old exit road.
All heavy vehicles would not be allowed entry into Kohima town from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. w.e.f. December 1-10. Police have requested the public to cooperate for better regulation of traffic.
