The 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival concluded on a high note on Tuesday, attracting an impressive footfall of 2,05,968 visitors over its 10-day run, according to Toka E. Tuccumi, joint director Tourism department.
The breakdown of attendees included 2,527 foreign tourists, 56,217 domestic visitors, and 1,47,224 local tourists from December 1 to 10. The final day of the festival witnessed the highest turnout, with 32,081 visitors enjoying the vibrant celebrations.
The Hornbill Festival continues to stand as a hallmark event, showcasing Nagaland’s rich cultural heritage and drawing attention from across the globe.
