With the HSLC and HSSLC examinations set to begin on February 11 and 12, 2025 and culminate on March 7 and February 24, 2025 respectively, the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has appealed to all responsible stakeholders to ensure a conducive environment for the students preparing for the exams.
In a press release, AKM president Lanutoshi Aier and general secretary Satemmongba urged the department of power to take active measures to provide uninterrupted electricity supply during the examination period. AKM said stable power was vital to facilitating effective preparation and a stress-free examination experience for students.
Acknowledging the department’s ongoing efforts in delivering electricity services, AKM said the significance of a seamless power supply during this time cannot be overstated.
Further, AKM called upon all wards, colonies, and community leaders to maintain peace and tranquillity in their respective areas. It stated that loud noises, public disturbances, or any form of activities that could disrupt the concentration of students should be strictly avoided.
AKM called upon all responsible to collectively prioritise the well-being of the students by fostering a supportive environment.
AKM further appealed to parents, guardians, and educators to extend encouragement and understanding to students as they strive to excel in their examinations. Meanwhile, AKM urged to the department of school education to provide basic necessities at examination centres.
