International Border Area People’s Welfare Organization (IBAPWO) has strongly urged the Government of India to conclude the long standing Naga political issue and peace talks with the NSCN (I-M) and NNPGs at the earliest. In a press release, IBAPWO president Rhuletsu Whurr and secretary Lapingtsu also appealed to the NNPGs and NSCN (I-M) to meet and address all outstanding differences through dialogue and explore finding common ground for peaceful solution.
IBAPWO also sought conclusion of the peace talks that was honourable and acceptable to all in the larger interest of the border area people of all border blocks (Indo-Myanmar) of Nagaland.
“It is high time for the people of Nagaland to ponder upon the matter in issue so that permanent peace may prevail,” stated IBAPWO.
