ICAR-NRC on Mithun organises prog

ICAR-NRC on Mithun organised a programme for farmers on September 28 with progressive farmer Abi Yalie as chief guest.

In a press release, ICAR-NRC on Mithun informed that farmers, scientist and staff virtually attended the prime minister’s interaction with farmers. During the interaction, the prime minister introduced 35 varieties of crops and interacted with farmers across the country via video conferencing. Meanwhile after the programme, director in charge of ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Dr. Nazrul Haque gave a presentation on “climate resilient agriculture” and a promotional video on semi-intensive Mithun farming. Scientist, ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Dr. Vivek Joshi proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by 23 farmers.
