ICAR-NRC on Mithun webinar on intellectual property rights

ICAR-NRC on Mithun conducted a webinar on “intellectual property rights with special emphasis on copyright and trademarks” on February 10. 

A press release by ICAR-NRC on Mithun stated that the webinar was part of the Intellectual Technology Management Unit (ITMU) initiative of ICAR-NRC on Mithun towards capacity building with the objectives to educate and to create awareness about IPR issues particularly copy right and trademarks among the scientific community.

Joint director, National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad, Dr. S.K Soam acted as a resource person and addressed the gathering about various copyright and trademarks related concepts using the virtual platform mentimeter to interact with participants.

The Workshop was attended by 51 persons including staff and scientists of ICAR-NRC on Mithun and ICAR Research Complex of NEHR, Nagaland Centre, faculties of College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, CAU, Jalukie and scientist from ICAR Research complex for NEH region, Basar,Arunachal Pradesh, PhD scholars from SASRD, Nagaland University and professor from CVSc, Selesih, CAU, Mizoram .

Earlier, the meeting was co-ordinated by scientist, I/C ITMU, Dr. JK Chamuah and initiated with a welcome address by director, ICAR-NRC on Mithun, Dr. M. H Khan.
