ICFAI University holds awareness on first aid skills

DIMAPUR

The Health Club of ICFAI University Nagaland, in collaboration with IQAC-IUN, organised an awareness talk on “First Aid Skills” at the University Auditorium on October 10, in observance of World First Aid Day 2025 under the theme “First Aid and Climate Change.”
Dr. Eunice K. Changkija, MBBS (KMCTH, Nepal) and Masters in Public Health (University of Sheffield, UK), served as the resource person. She shared expert insights from her medical and public health experience, and conducted hands-on demonstrations on key techniques for effective first aid response in varied scenarios.
The programme aimed to raise awareness on essential first aid practices, particularly in the context of climate change-induced disasters, and highlighted the importance of preparedness in health emergencies.
The initiative reflected ICFAI University Nagaland Health Club’s commitment to promoting community well-being and climate resilience.
