IDANSB holds free dental camp

In collaboration with Kekhro Smile Foundation, Kohima, the Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) as part of “continuing dental health programme” (CDH) conducted a free and voluntary oral and dental health treatment camp at Kikruma village on September 28. 

A press release from CDH convenor Dr. Imyangluba stated that the programme was graced by pastor KBC and Dr. Nungotso Vero, president IDANSB introduced about the camp and on theme exposure “oral smart, health fit”. Dr. Vizoleno gave a short talk on oral and dental health and the risk factors on consumption of tobacco. 
Dr. Imyangluba said that oral health was an essential part of overall health and wellbeing and was a window into the health of the body. Extractions, restorations and scaling were performed and medicines were distributed. Eight dental surgeons Dr. Nungotso Vero, Dr. Imyangluba, Dr. Vizoleno, Dr. Ketouvizo, Dr. Lanumeren, Dr. Bella, Dr. Dzutholuo, Dr. Noyingbeni assisted by staff Krovieo, Ali, Zareni and Venyulu rendered their voluntary service during the camp. Dr. Kulo Kapfo MO PHC Kikruma attended the general patients. A total of 167 patients were treated for various dental problems.
