Indian Dental Association, Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB), as part of Community Dental Health Program would be organizing statewide Free Denture camp from the first week of October.
A press release from president IDANSB Dr. Limawati Pongen informed that the main objectives was to reached out to the lesser privileged section of the society who do not have easy access to dental facilities.
Pongen mentioned that since October 1 has been celebrated as International Day of Older Persons, IDANSB wished to make a positive change by providing better smile and optimal oral health to the Senior citizens through free dental camps and also free dentures (Artificial teeth) across the state.
He said district representatives have been nominated to co-ordinate with the members in their respective districts and carry out the activities in co-ordination with the local authorities/institution, which IDANSB members have also agreed to do free follow-up of the patients treated during the camp.
He further encouraged to render their valuable service and also voluntarily sponsor one or more patient’s dentures and the same has also been conveyed to all the well-wishers.
