Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) Wokha unit conducted dental and oral health camp on June 3, at Founding Harbour Childrens Home, Wokha in celebration of the 10th NERDC which has been scheduled to be held on November 29 and 30, at Kohima.
A team of three doctors and assistant were led by Dr. Daisy Ovung , Dr. Orenthung Lotha, Dr. Mhonthung Tungoe and assistant Nyanbeni and Darlin during the camp.
Dr. Orenthung Lotha highlighted the importance of oral hygiene and brushing technique were demonstrated.
Altogether, 54 patients from the children’s home were examined and treated including oxtractions, fillings etc.
Free medicines, toothpaste, tooth brushes and other oral hygiene cleaning aids were distributed to the patients.
