Intensive Diarrhoea Control fortnight (IDCF) campaign was successfully conducted from June 12 to 24, at Mon, with a set of activities implemented for prevention and control of deaths due to dehydration from diarrhoea across the district. According to the press release issued by DPMU Mon NHM media officer Leeyan Chemshy, the campaign lasted for two weeks with the active participation of all the Ashas, Nurses, MOs and the Asha coordinators covering 111 villages, 14677 under five children, 8843 children given ORS, 776 children reported with diarrhoea who were given ORS and Zinc for 14 days, 50 ORS-ZINC corners were established and 50 schools were shown hand washing techniques.
