DWSM PHED, Peren division organised IEC awareness programme on COVID-19, sponsored by Sanitation and WSSO, Kohima at Jalukie town on July 14.
A press release by DWSM PHED, Peren stated that, the highlight of the programme was to educate the general public on the importance of maintaining social distancing, to inculcate safe hygiene and sanitation habits during this pandemic and beyond.
Programme was attended by the frontline workers working day in and out, cooking and taking charge of the people in quarantine centres in the district, including church and youth leaders.
