IEC campaign on HIV & STIs underway

DIMAPUR: The Intensified IEC Campaign 2026 27 (3rd Round) on HIV and Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) prevention is being conducted across Kohima district from August 12 to October 12, 2026.
Organised under the initiative of the Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS), the campaign aims to strengthen awareness on HIV and STI prevention among communities and students, a DIPR report stated.
The programme is being carried out in 21 selected villages and 70 schools across the district. Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has appealed to all selected villages and schools to extend full cooperation and support for the effective implementation of the campaign.
