IEC programme on COVID-19 at Tseminyu town

PHED, Kohima rural in collaboration with Tesophenyu Group Youth Organisation Union (TGYOU), PHED Tseminyu staff, WATSAN and Swachhagrahis conducted IEC programme on COVID-19 at Tseminyu town on June 30.

A press release by DWSM PHED Kohima rural stated that IEC consultant Ashale Seb sensitised the people on the importance of maintaining social distancing, wearing mask and constant washing of hands. She also highlighted the importance of knowing COVID status in Nagaland and further stressed on the importance of knowing the symptoms of the disease.

She also urged the WATSAN, Swachhagrahis and TGYUO volunteers to create awareness about COVID-19 to the general public and emphasised on the importance of maintaining sanitation in the locality.

Vote of thank delivered by TGYOU general secretary Sohilo Tep in the programme conducted by maintaining social distancing. PHED Kohima rural also distributed cap and T-shirt to the participants.
