Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) has threatened to step up the agitation and go for an indefinite whole Nagaland shutter down starting April 27, if DCCI’s grievances were not addressed by the government at an appropriate time.
“If the DCCI grievances are not addressed by the government at the appropriate time CNCCI will step up the agitation and go for an indefinite whole Nagaland Shutter down starting 27th of April, 2024,” it said.
CNCCI, through its media affairs, extended its full support to DCCI’s call for indefinite shutter down, describing it as “totally justified.” It asserted that multiple taxation by multiple groups, “uncountable fines,” and harassment meted out to the business community cannot be tolerated any further. CNCCI stated that it was “fully behind” the DCCI in letter and spirit and was closely monitoring the situation.
Meanwhile, CNCCI has appealed to all the sections of society to support the business community in its demand.
