IMD forecast heavy rainfall across Nagaland, NE region

DIMAPUR, JUL 26 (NPN): The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast fairly widespread to widespread rainfall across Nagaland during July 27-31, with heavy to very heavy rainfall expected over parts of the state during the week.
According to IMD, isolated thunderstorms and lightning are likely over Nagaland from July 27 to 30.
Isolated heavy rainfall is expected on July 27-28 and July 31, while isolated very heavy rainfall is likely on July 29 and 30.
Elsewhere in the Northeast, Arunachal Pradesh is likely to experience isolated to scattered rainfall on July 27-28 and July 31-August 1, and fairly widespread to widespread rainfall on July 29-30. Isolated heavy rainfall is also forecast over the state from July 27 to 31.
Assam and Meghalaya are expected to receive fairly widespread to widespread rainfall from July 27 to 31, with isolated thunderstorms and lightning during July 27-30.
Heavy rainfall is likely on July 27-28 and July 30-31, while isolated very heavy rainfall is forecast on July 29.
Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are also likely to witness fairly widespread to widespread rainfall during July 26-31, with isolated thunderstorms and lightning from July 26-30.
Heavy rainfall is expected on July 27-28 and July 31, while isolated very heavy rainfall is likely on July 29-30. Isolated to scattered rainfall is also forecast over these states on August 1.
