IMD forecast rainfall in NE

DIMAPUR, MAY 9 (NPN): India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast rainfall over the North East region in the next four to five days. In its daily bulletin, IMD stated that scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning gusty winds (speed reaching 30-40 kmph) was likely over Assam & Meghalaya during May 10-15; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during May 12-15 and with lightning over Arunachal Pradesh on May 11-15.
IMD also precited isolated heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh during May 12-15; Assam & Meghalaya during May 11-15, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during May 13-15 with very heavy rainfall over Assam & Meghalaya on May 14&15.
