The India Meteorological Department issued dense fog warning across the North Eastern states.
In its daily bulletin issued on Sunday, IMD said that dense fog conditions are likely to prevail during late night/early morning hours in isolated pockets over Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura till January 2.
