DIMAPUR, JUN 20 (NPN): India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over North East region during the week.
In its daily weather bulletin, IMD stated that fairly widespread to widespread rainfall was likely over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during June 21-26, 2026. The Met department also predicted isolated heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh during June 21-24; Assam & Meghalaya during June 23-26; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during June 21-23 June with isolated very heavy rainfall also likely over Assam & Meghalaya during June 21 & 22.
