India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning was likely over North East region during next seven days.
In its daily bulletin, IMD also forecast rain with gusty winds speed reaching (30-50 kmph) over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam & Meghalaya on March 17; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during March 16-18.
