IMD predicts rainfall in NE

DIMAPUR, JUL 28 (NPN): India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast isolated to scattered rainfall over the North East region during the next four-five days.
In its weather bulletin, the Met department stated that isolated to scattered rainfall was likely over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during August 1-3. It further, predicted fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during July 28-31.
Meanwhile, IMD meteorological centre, Kohima has also predicted heavy to very heavy (12-20 cm in 24 hrs) rainfall over Kohima & Phek and heavy (7-11 cm in 24 hrs) rainfall over Zunheboto, Mon, Longleng, Mokokchung, Peren, Dimapur, Wokha & Tuensang on July 29. 2026.
