India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that under the influence of cyclonic circulation over Nagaland and neighbourhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level, isolated to scattered light rainfall activity was likely over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during next seven days.
Further, IMD said that scattered to fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall/snowfall activity was likely over Arunachal Pradesh during February 16-21 with thunderstorm & lightning activity on February 16 & 19 and over Assam & Meghalaya on February 19.
