IMD predicts scattered to fairly widespread rainfall in NE

India Meteorological Department has forecast fairly widespread to widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorm, lightning gusty winds (speed reaching 30-50 kmph) over Assam & Meghalaya on April 25 and during April 28-30; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during April 26-28 with lightning over Arunachal during April 26-30 and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura on April 25.
IMD also stated that isolated heavy rainfall was likely over Arunachal and Assam & Meghalaya on April 26; Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura during April 27-30; with isolated very heavy rainfall likely over Arunachal and Assam & Meghalaya during April 27-30.
