The India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain with thunderstorms, lightning and hail storms over East, North East, Central and Peninsular India in the coming days. The weather office has warned of widespread light to moderate rain with isolated thunderstorms and lightning over Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur and Tripura during March 19-23.
