Wokha Police along with ‘F’ coy of 11 IR led by Addl. SP K. Soriso (PRO) and SDPO, Vikato Thonger, conducted a special MVCP on the midnight of October 11 at NST colony, Wokha Town.
During the drive, one Mahindra Bolero Pick-up bearing registration No. AS-O3CC-2099 was intercepted at around 2:50 AM in the early hours of October 12 and recovered from their possession around 3000 bottles of IMFL.
In this connection, PRO informed that 2 persons have been arrested and a case has been registered under relevant sections of Nagaland Liquor Prohibition (NLTP) Act 1989.
