Immanuel College holds PTA meeting

Immanuel College (IC) organised a parent-teacher association (PTA) meeting for degree students (2019-2020) at the college conference hall on August 31. 

A press release from IC media cell convenor, Akutu Poireng stated that, the objective of the meeting was to maintain a better understanding and good relationship between the parents and the teaching faculty, to communicate to the parents the areas their children are excelling and to share academic progress and growth based on classroom observation. 
The meeting was chaired by Temjen Longkumer, assistant professor of Education, invocation by Lipok, asst prof of Zoology, welcome address was delivered by Th Sharatchandra Singh principal, IC, wherein he stressed on the importance of an effective parent-teacher partnership for the students’ holistic development. 
Speech on behalf of the parents was given by Sashimenla SJ’s hostel warden and speech on behalf of the teachers was delivered by Temjenzungla HoD History followed by an interactive session. Vote of thanks was given by Natty Chang (convener PTA), HoD English and benediction by Mhabemo, asst prof of economics.
New office bearers of Immanuel College PTA for the session 2019-2021 is led by Th. Sharatchandra Singh, principal IC as president, Inaho as general secretary along with five others.
