Immanuel College, St. John College organise Faculty Development Programme for college faculties

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Immanuel College (IC) Dimapur in collaboration with IQAC cluster India conducted a four-day online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from June 8-11 on “New NAAC Revised Manual of SSR”.
In a press release, IC media cell informed that FDP was organised to provide an opportunity to equip and familiarise faculty members with various changes.
At the training, IQAC cluster India, Piyush Parade covered seven criterion of self-study report (SSR) besides session on “effective documentations”.
Resource persons were IQAC co-ordinator, Modern College, Pune, Parag Shad, IQAC co-ordinator and HOD department of English, DAV Valankar College of Commerce, Solapur, Dr. Deepak Nanaware, quality management head, Urupanidhi Group of Institutes, Bangalore, Dr. Badrunissa Shaikh, assistant IQAC co-ordinator, Karnataka, Arts, Science and Commerce College, Bidari, Rajmohan Pardeshi, HoD department of Zoology and IQAC co-ordinator, I.C.S College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Ranagiri, Dr.Ayub Shaikh, assistant professor and IQAC co-ordinator, Sangamner College, Adredanagar, Shrihari Pingle and assistant professor HOD, department of Chemistry and IQAC co-ordinator Bhartiya Jain Sanghatana’s ASC College, Wangholi, Pune, Dr. Sanjay Gaikwad.
SJC: St. John College (SJC) research cell on June 13 organised an FDP and lecture on “CBCS system in Nagaland University” with associate professor, department of Philosophy, Dimapur Government College, Dr. T. Jamedi Longkumer as resource person.
In a press release, SJC informed that FDP was led by Dr. Sita Malakar after which the resource person gave a detailed lecture presentation on “Choice Based Credit System” (CBCS) which would be introduced and implemented in the upcoming semester.
The lecture was followed by a presentation on “the role of research for higher education institution” by the research cell which was led by Dr. Toshinungla Ao. The FDP concluded with a lecture on “institutional strategic guidelines on teaching-learning process” by SJC principal, professor S.T Janetius.
