Dimapur Christian Forum (DCF) has appealed to the Government of India (GoI) to “honourably include all Nagas national groups” in the final solution recognising and respecting the unique history of the Nagas.
Ordained ministers under the aegis of Dimapur Christian Forum (DCF), who met Town Baptist Church, Dimapur on October 28, 2019 in view of the ongoing “Indo-Naga” peace talk, resolved that the outcome of Naga political settlement should eradicate and uproot all possible germination and offshoots of violence, parallel confrontation, and bloodshed by a peaceful and democratic process of solution. In a press release, DCF president Rev. Moses Murry and secretary Rev. Fr. C.P. Anto said that the members also urged the Naga families to come together under a spiritual platform and get the differences resolved and come to an agreed modality. DCF said that the opinion of the family should be the final heart of the Nagas knowing that “God is there when we love each other and have agreement with each other.”
Further, the forum urged all the churches and its followers to sincerely engage in fasting and prayer that “the will of God is recognized and done to uphold His sovereignty.”
At the meeting, DCF said the leaders prayed “sincerely upholding the issue to the throne of Grace recognizing that there is a time for everything as the word of God declared (Eccl 3:1-8).”
