After being served a show cause notice for violating the Model Code of Conduct, the Independent candidate for the Lok Sabha elections, Dr. MM Thromwa Konyak, has tendered an apology to the Commissioner & Returning Officer, Nagaland, M Patton.
In his reply to the show cause notice, Dr. MM Thromwa Konyak affirmed not to commit any further violations and assured to adhere to the guidelines of the Model Code of Conduct in letter and spirit for free and fair conduct of elections.
In this regard, the commissioner & RO has forwarded the letter to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Nagaland for further necessary action.
