Indefinite postal strike

All India Postal Employee’s Union – Gramin Dak Sevak, Nagaland division Wednesday announced that it would also participate part in the ongoing nationwide AIPEU-GDS indefinite strike with immediate effect. The strike, which began on May 22, has been called to demand the implementation of K Chandra Committee Report on GDS 7th Pay Commission. AIPEU-GDS Nagaland secretary, Jatin Kalita, said all GDS employees would cease work until further direction from union headquarters.
